Now, that the boats are starting to sink and are not rescued by anyone, they agree that it is time to build a large ocean liner that takes us all by the storm with greater security.
This is the case for APPA, which in a recent statement regarding the integration of their photovoltaic section in UNEF, made reference to «a process of internal reflection that will lead to a rethinking of their foundations and, probably, in the drafting of a new statutes appropriate to present circumstances to allow a more cohesive national renewable sector”.
On the one hand, the new statutory approach would open the door to non-producing partners, that is, engineers, manufacturers, or distributors, in order to unitethewholerenewablessector.
Theprocessaimsofcourseataunitythat empowers them in the defense of their interests, on one hand from attacks received by the sector, and on the other, against government cuts.
The future development of renewable energy depends on the integration of the sector in a unique voice that is able to create a stable framework, and that allows the development of renewablesinthedirectionsetbytheEU.
Abouthowitwillbeandwhatwill come out of all this, APPA is in talks with other associations to seek a path of integration, of which UNEF could be a clear example.
We’ve spent years criticizing the lack of industrial base in Spain, research, technology, and when we succeed, and are the mirror of the world in renewable technology, it is all stopped due to poor management of resources. Hopefully in the coming months everything will be clarified and make us able to build a good ship.
