In addition, the skills necessary to effectively communicate the importance of the circular economy in their own communities and areas of influence will be strengthened. Each leader commitment will consist in giving at least ten public presentations to convey the values of the circular economy during the next twelve months. In one year, 3,000 conferences will have been given in Spain and they will become part of one of the most important networks in terms of sustainability in Latin America.
“We have chosen Spain as the venue to host the Summit on Circular Economy and Innovation because it is a country that has all the resources and potentials to become a global model to follow. Not only does it make ethical and moral sense to bet on innovation and competitiveness, but it also makes economic sense to bet on the productive model towards a green economy, because what is at stake is the life and future of the next generations “, Juan Verde, president of ALF said.
