The new Renewable Energy Plan 2010-2020 PER states that it is necessary to develop innovative proposals to accelerate the growth of all renewable technologies for thermal uses. Therefore, one of the most prominent proposal of the PER is the establishment of a new incentive mechanism for renewable heat energy use (ICAREN), a direct support scheme for the production of thermal energy by which an Energy Services Company (ESE) that transmits energy to the consumer is entitled to an incentive for the energy it produces.
The fact of the matter is, this incentive mechanism will force the ESES to keep a tight check on energy intakes obtained from solar thermal installations, so that they can properly bill the consumer. In this regard, the Valencia company Multi Solar System offers an innovative modular system to calculate the thermal energy obtained from the system, and consumed in each household. Both the design, production and software
development of the management system have been entirely performed by MSS.
This modular system allows to control, monitor and manage solar domestic hot water installations maximizing the heat provided by solar thermal panels to heat water and distribute the energy efficiently to the different houses.
We can also perform a full remote control of solar thermal domestic hot water facilities and thus maximize their energy efficiency. The management software helps us to monitor and adjust all the parameters of the installation remotely, obtaining graphs, charts, and historical reports, in addition to managing and controling the alerts sent by the system, thereby optimizing the installation maintenance.
