The Extremadura energy sector will focus its activity in Intersolar Europe 2018 on the penultimate week of June. Five renewable energy and photovoltaic companies of the region are participating this year in the Intersolar Europe 2018 Fair in Germany, which is expected to bring together 1,200 exhibitors and more than 65,000 visitors.
These firms will travel to Munich accompanied by Extremadura Avante, an entity dependent on the Junta de Extremadura formed by a group of public companies, which aims to provide services to the Extremadura companies in the different phases of their development. The final purpose is to make them more competitive, boosting the Autonomous Community´s industrial and business development. Thus, Extremadura Avante boosts the promotion and marketing of Extremadura products and services in the professional visit to be held between June 19 and 21.
The objective is prospecting the photovoltaic and renewable energies sector in the international sphere
The objective of this commercial mission to the German fair is prospecting the photovoltaic and renewable energies sector in the international sphere. It is about establishing new contacts for the introduction of the Extremaduran companies services, strengthening contacts for potential strategic alliances, as well as creating synergies and closer commercial links.
The Intersolar Europe 2018 Fair is the meeting point that brings together professionals from industry, commerce, suppliers and entities, who will attend a program with conferences, seminars, workshops and talks on the latest trends in the industry and the exchange of knowledge, also on a practical level.
The conferences will deal with new technologies isolated from the grid and the use of photovoltaics in the agro-industrial sector
Within the framework of the conferences, topics related to new business models and financing of the solar sector, new technologies isolated from the grid and the use of photovoltaic energy for the agro-industrial sector will be addressed.
Also within the Spanish representation, although not in the expedition from Extremadura, the Spanish multinational NCLAVE is once again present as an exhibitor at InterSolar Europe, to push its one-row and multiple-row tracker solutions as well as its fixed structures.
Digitization of inverters in the spotlight of the Intersolar Europe 2018 Fair
The inverters have become real all-rounders, used not only to convert direct current into alternating current, but also to analyze and control photovoltaic installations, as well as solar batteries, energy for heating and smart home solutions. They include interfaces for digital communication and are connected to power management systems ready to incorporate electric vehicles. Inverters build their growing versatility mainly on digitization and the new use fields that they open up. Their new capabilities are also reflected in the supply figures: 2017 was a record year, with a sustained growth of 23% year on year, according to an analysis by GTM Research. Industry professionals can further learn about the current trends of the future-oriented market at Intersolar Europe 2018, from June 20 to 22 in Munich.
Seven of the top ten manufacturers of inverters will be represented at the Intersolar Europe 2018 Fair, the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry. Be it for professional visitors, experts and the industry as a whole, Intersolar Europe is the essential get-together to explore and debate the development of digitization in this sector. An updated description of the session “Inverters and Digitalization” will also be offered at the Intersolar Europe Forum in hall A2 on June 21, 2018. And on June 20, the companies nominated for the Intersolar Europe AWARD will present their innovative products and solutions in the field of inverters.
