The company specializing in the production and sale of second- generation electric batteries at Ampere Energy has developed a new smart modular battery model that can adapt to the growing energy needs of the user. The Ampere Tower M is an evolution of the Tower S and complements the Ampere S the current range of second-generation products.

This new version offers the possibility of adapting the battery capacity in the event that, over time, the installation storage needs increase. This allows the consumer to acquire a 6 kWh capacity Tower in the first phase and, later, extend it and reconfigure it to 12 kWh.

The second module of the battery is housed inside the same housing of the Tower M, so that compliance with the regulation on electrical safety and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) is guaranteed, as well as with the regulations for network connection. All this without taking up any additional space and maintaining the elegant and compact design of the entire range of Ampere S systems (35% smaller and 20% lighter).

Savings and energy independence

Like the rest of the equipment, the new Tower M includes everything necessary to optimize the energy control in a house, maximizing savings and energy independence. Its new second- generation EMS manager is more stable, faster and more efficient and allows a greater management capacity, as it learns the user´s habits, builds the consumption and energy production curve and makes a forecast of future demand to achieve optimum functioning. Likewise, it features an All in One design (hybrid inverter of 3kW or 5 kW of power, battery modules, EMS and AMPi® in a single device), possesses the required relevant certifications (CE, RD1699 / 2011, Zero Injection , etc.) and includes the option to configure the system for Peak Shaving and Back-Up.

In addition, the new design includes other advantages that add to its modularity. Among them, a low initial investment and adapted to the client’s requirements; a quick and easy installation or the possibility for the user to monitor the installation both through the web and mobile, using the new MyAmpere APP.
