The Gesternova Group will bring the synergies between electric vehicle and renewables to the Electric Vehicle Fair of Madrid (VEM2018), to be held from 1 through 3 June, in the Plaza de Colón in Madrid.
The role of the company takes on special relevance in this fourth edition since in addition to being an exhibitor, it is also sponsoring the event and is the supplier of green energy to the facilities during the three days. It is for the fourth year in a row that the company supplies green energy to the event.
Bringing synergies between electric vehicle and renewables to the citizens of Madrid
Gesternova premiers as an exhibitor at this event and will attempt to demonstrate to the citizens of Madrid that the use of the electric vehicle must always be linked to green energy. Technical staff of the company itself and of its subsidiary Contigo Energía will show “the advantages of using 100% renewable energy, the viability and profitability of self-consumption projects and the company´s offering of charging points for homes and companies” to Madrid residents attending VEM2018, the brand explains in a statement.
Particulate emissions of vehicles, whether NOX or CO2, will be zero as long as the car is recharged with clean energy
Gesternova´s firm commitment to the synergies between electric vehicles and renewables becomes evident in its projection of electric mobility: “the electric vehicle must be inexorably linked to 100% renewable energy. ¿Why is this so important? Particulate emissions of vehicles, whether NOX or CO2 that are causing climate change and air pollution, will be zero as long as the car is recharged with clean energy or through photovoltaic self-consumption. This is why the origin of the sources of energy is so essential”, the company argues.
“But nowadays it is not just an environmental issue, an electric vehicle consumes approximately 15 kWh every 100km, in money with Gesternova´s tariffs it is less than € 1.50 of electricity. The best among the urban diesel cars consumes 4 liters of diesel in the same cycle, which results in a cost of approximately € 5 per 100km,” Jorge González Cortes, commercial and marketing director of Gesternova claims. The synergies between electric vehicle and renewables are clear to González Cortés, who is also an electric vehicle user: “It is a real pleasure to sponsor VEM2018 because electric cars have come to stay, to clean the air of our cities, to save us money, and to lead the change in the energy model”, this Gesternova manager concludes.
The opportunity to see and test electric vehicles
The main objective of VEM 2018, the exhibition and testing of electric vehicles aimed at the citizens of Madrid, is “to bring zero emissions mobility closer, both to the individual and to the public and private professional“, as pointed out by the Business Association for Development and Promotion of the Electric Vehicle (AEDIVE), the event organizer.
The visitor will be exposed to all the offering of products, importers, distributors, marketers…
Tents will be set up throughout the Plaza de Colón for the individual exhibition of companies linked to electric mobility, where their products – vehicles, recharging points, accessories …-, and services – cargo management, consultancies, research and development …- will be presented. Thus, the emblematic Madrid square will become a meeting point where the visitor will be exposed to all the offering of products, importers, distributors, marketers of services or accessories in the field of electric mobility and all of it fed with renewable electricity, as AEDIVE informs.
